OnePlus has introduced a new OnePlus Watch 2 model in China at the recent OnePlus Ace 3 Pro launch event. This smartwatch includes several enhancements over its international version. Notable upgrades include eSIM support and improved fitness tracking features.

New OnePlus Watch 2 specs & features

The OnePlus Watch 2 comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon W5 and BES2700BP processors, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

A key update is the addition of eSIM support for standalone calling, allowing users to make calls without their smartphones. The brand has replaced the stainless steel case with aluminum alloy, giving it a matte finish. The watch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices and runs on ColorOS Watch 6.0.

The watch supports over 100 sports modes and can automatically detect six types of exercises. It includes various health-tracking sensors, such as heart rate and blood oxygen sensors, and offers detailed fitness data.

Additional Features

With a 5ATM + IP68 rating, the OnePlus Watch 2 is resistant to water and dust, making it suitable for swimming and other water activities. Additional features include dual-band GPS, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3.

The 500mAh battery provides up to four days of usage in smart mode and 12 days in power saver mode. It can be fully charged in 60 minutes using VOOC magnetic fast charging.

The OnePlus Watch 2 is available in Meteorite Black and Nebula Green, priced at 1799 yuan (approximately USD 247). It is currently available for order and will go on sale in China on July 3rd.
