A recent leak from the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed some details about the upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 3. According to the leak, OnePlus is planning to launch these true wireless earbuds alongside the OnePlus 13 smartphone.
The Buds Pro 3 is said to feature a dual dynamic driver setup, featuring an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. That’s the same driver setup as the Buds Pro 2 and OnePlus is also likely to continue collaborating with Dynaudio for audio tuning.
Enhanced Noise Cancellation
As for active noise cancellation (ANC), DCS suggests the Buds Pro 3 will offer a maximum noise reduction depth of 50 dB, which is just a slight increase from the Pro 2’s 48 dB.
However, the Buds Pro 3 might not be ideal for gamers as the leak suggests it will have a latency of 94ms, considerably lower than the Buds Pro 2’s 54ms. It’s unusual to see a downgrade in latency with a new model, as we typically expect improvements.
Battery Life and Quick Charging
Nonetheless, on the battery front, the Buds Pro 3 is said to offer up to 43 hours of playback time with the charging case. Additionally, a 10-minute quick charge will provide 5 hours of playback, which is a handy feature for users on the go.

Release Date Speculations
While the information comes from a credible source, it is still a leak, so it’s wise to approach these details with caution. The OnePlus 13 is expected to launch around December this year, which is also when we might see the release of the Buds Pro 3 if the leak holds true.
