OnePlus has announced the release of their upcoming flagship earbuds, the Buds Pro 3, set to debut in India and other regions on August 20th. The launch event is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM IST (9:00 AM EST, 2:00 PM BST, 3:00 PM CEST).
Pricing and Specifications
According to recent leaks, the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro will be priced at €199, which is slightly more than the previous version. The earbuds will come equipped with an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter, with sound tuning handled by Dynaudio. Enhanced noise cancellation of up to 50dB is another highlight, although gamers might find the 94ms audio delay less than ideal.
Battery Life and Features
The battery life is expected to be impressive, offering up to 43 hours of playback when used with the case. A quick charge of just 10 minutes will provide up to 5 hours of listening time. The earbuds will also support LHDC 5.0 for high-fidelity audio, have IP55 dust and water resistance, and feature Bluetooth 5.4.
Additionally, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 may come with a redesigned case that includes a leather-like material. The company is likely to start teasing more details about the Buds Pro 3 in the coming days.
Xiaomi Smart Band 9
In other news, Xiaomi’s Smart Band 9, which launched in China last month, is anticipated to reach global markets soon, with a probable starting price of €39.99 (~US$47). The band boasts a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with 1200 nits brightness, over 200 watch faces, and more than 150 workout modes. It also includes health-tracking sensors and offers up to 21 days of battery life with the Always-On Display (AOD) turned off.
