OnePlus 15 Price Hike in India
Save for the occasional discounts, the OnePlus 15 has retained its price in most regions since its global launch in November 2025. Unfortunatly the same cannot be said for India where the flagship has gotten more expensive.
Original Pricing vs Current Costs
When it launched in the country, which is a key market for OnePlus, the OnePlus 15 was priced at ₹72,999 for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage while the 16GB RAM + 512GB version sold for ₹79,999. Today, the OnePlus 15 (available on Amazon for $849.99) sells for significantly higher than it cost at launch. According to the OnePlus website, the 12GB RAM + 256GB version now costs ₹85,999, while the 16GB RAM + 512GB version has a price tag of ₹93,999. While these prices are a huge jump from what the OnePlus 15 cost at launch, it is not the first time OnePlus has increased the price of the phone.
Prior to this latest upward review, the 12GB + 256GB version received a ₹5,000 increase from the launch price, while the 16GB + 512GB variant had its price raised by ₹6,000. What makes the situation worse is that the OnePlus 15 isn’t even available to buy at the time of writing. The OnePlus India website says the phone is out of stock when you select a configuration and color.
Stock Issues and Possible Reasons
In another section, the page says the OnePlus 15 is “under urgent restocking due to high demand”. However, you can sign up to be notified when it is available if you are buying the 12GB RAM version, or pre-order if you are purchasing the 16GB RAM version. While OnePlus hasn’t issued a statement regarding the reason for the higher price tags, the reason is most likely due to the higher cost of components, specifically RAM and storage. And based on this, we believe, it is only a matter of time before the OnePlus 15 gets a price increase in other regions.
