A reliable tipster has unveiled details about an upcoming smartphone that will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. It appears that a certain brand is developing a new device with Qualcomm's next-generation flagship chipset and a curved display made by BOE. Although the name of this device remains unknown, it could potentially be the OnePlus 13.

According to Digital Chat Station, who shared this information on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging platform), a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 smartphone is in development and will come with a 2K quad curved display. This display is a BOE 8T LTPO panel that includes an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the mysterious phone is anticipated to have an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

In the comments section of this post, Digital Chat Station mentioned that the OnePlus 13 will feature a micro-curved screen and may resemble the Oppo Reno 12. Some of these details align with previous reports. The OnePlus 13 is speculated to be one of the first devices equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Last month, DCS revealed that the new OnePlus flagship would be powered by a substantial battery pack exceeding 6,000mAh. However, there are rumors suggesting it might not support wireless charging.
