OnePlus is set to release its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, and early indications suggest that it will be a powerhouse device. A recent AnTuTu benchmark score, shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, revealed that the OnePlus 12 achieved an impressive 2,333,033 points. One of the factors contributing to this high score is the phone's innovative cooling system, which OnePlus has now shed light on.
OnePlus 12's Cooling Mechanism
According to OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis, the OnePlus 12 features the industry's first 9140mm² vapor chamber for cooling. This vapor chamber covers a vast area of 38,547mm². In addition to the vapor chamber, the phone employs a "world's first integrated dual-cycle heat dissipation" system. This system consists of two layers of heat dissipation cavities that work together to keep the phone cool, even during intense usage.
To further enhance heat dissipation, the OnePlus 12's cooling mechanism incorporates advanced materials such as thermal conductive gel and super-conductive graphite. Inspired by rocket technology, this cooling system ensures that the device remains cool and performs optimally.
"Rain Water Touch" Feature
OnePlus has also demonstrated the phone's ability to withstand rainy conditions without experiencing ghost touches or false touches. In a simulated rain test, the OnePlus 12 outperformed the iPhone 15 Pro in this aspect. OnePlus refers to this feature as the "Rain Water Touch" and initially introduced it with the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro in August. The OnePlus 12 is the second phone to feature this technology.
