Nubia has introduced the Watch GT wearable in China. This smartwatch was revealed during a press event that also marked the launch of the Nubia Z70 Ultra, the newest flagship smartphone from the brand. Alongside the smartwatch, the Nubia LiveFlip and Nubia LiveClip earbuds were also introduced at the same gathering.
Features of the Watch GT
The Watch GT features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, boasting a pixel density of 326 PPI and an always-on display mode. It comes with a casing made of metal and glass, presenting a unique translucent band running through its center. Users can utilize the smartwatch to keep track of their workouts with more than 100 sports modes available, in addition to monitoring vital stats like heart rate. Furthermore, it provides dual-frequency GPS navigation tech. With a 450 mAh battery, Nubia claims that the watch can operate for as long as 15 days under normal usage conditions. Additionally, this wearable is reportedly IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
Pricing and Availability
The Nubia Watch GT will be available in China for 699 yuan (approximately $97). It remains uncertain if or when the product will be released in other markets, such as Europe, where devices like the Nubia Z60 Ultra are already being sold (currently priced at €806.65 on Amazon).
