Noble Audio Launches Luxury Kronos IEMs with 9 Drivers and Titanium Shell

Key Takeaways

1. High-Quality Materials: Kronos IEMs feature CNC-machined titanium shells and unique titanium Damascus faceplates for a premium look and feel.

2. Advanced Driver Configuration: Each earpiece includes a combination of dynamic, bone conduction, balanced armature, and electrostatic drivers for a rich and balanced sound across all frequencies.

3. Low Impedance: The IEMs have an impedance of under 35 ohms, making them compatible with a variety of audio sources without needing powerful amplification.

4. Customizable Cable: The included palladium-plated silver cable is easy to replace with standard 0.78 mm 2-pin cables, allowing for personalization and upgrades.

5. Launch and Pricing: The Kronos IEMs will be released globally on August 8, 2025, with a suggested retail price of $4,500.

To explain the nearly $5,000 cost of the Kronos, Noble Audio has chosen to use CNC-machined titanium shells produced in the USA. The back of the shells features two titanium Damascus faceplates that only show the Noble Audio logo when light strikes them at a specific angle. The company claims that these in-ear monitors (IEMs) provide “flagship sound,” driven by nine drivers and a six-way crossover in each earpiece.

Drivers and Performance

Each earphone is equipped with a 10 mm and a 7 mm dynamic driver for bass, a bone conduction driver, four Knowles balanced armature drivers for mid and high frequencies, as well as two Sonion electrostatic drivers specially tuned for treble. Even with this unique driver setup, the IEMs are not overly demanding regarding their source, boasting an impedance of under 35 ohms. An initial review from Bloom Audio validates that the Kronos produces a balanced sound ideal for various music genres.

Cable and Customization

The included cable is made of palladium-plated silver and features a 4.4 mm balanced plug. However, it can be replaced easily since the Kronos works with standard 0.78 mm 2-pin cables. Noble Audio points out that each pair is made by hand, with parts individually matched to guarantee top performance.

Launch Details

Noble Audio’s Kronos IEMs are scheduled for a global release on 8 August 2025, carrying a suggested retail price of $4,500.
