Renowned leaker Digital Chat Station has suggested that Realme is considering a boost to a 7,000mAh battery for the GT 8 Pro. This enhancement could mean that the charging time may increase to about 42 minutes while still using the same 120W charging capability.

Additionally, there’s talk that the GT 8 Pro might feature an even larger battery of 7,500mAh. But, this would require a slower 100W SuperVOOC charging, extending the full charge time to around 55 minutes.
On another note, the GT 8 Pro could also be equipped with a whopping 8,000mAh battery. Yet again, this upgrade seems to compromise charging speed, dropping it to 80W and necessitating up to 70 minutes to fully charge.
Trade-offs in Features
Nonetheless, being recognized for these impressive battery capacities (likely built on advanced silicon-carbon anode technology similar to the current Titan Battery) could present a challenge akin to what the GT 7 Pro faces against its competitors like the OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, both of which offer wireless charging. Meanwhile, this feature is absent in the Realme device.
