Recently, the upcoming Motorola Razr 50 with the XT2453-2 model number received approval from China’s TENAA certification platform. Reports indicate that the Razr 50 Ultra, expected to launch alongside the Razr 50, has the XT2451-2 model number. Earlier this month, the Razr 50 got approval from the 3C certification platform in China. Now, this same platform has also approved the Ultra model.
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra Gains 3C Certification
The 3C certification for the Razr 50 Ultra suggests it might come with a 68W fast charger. However, it's important to note that there's no definite confirmation on whether the device will indeed support 68W charging, as recent leaks suggest it will support 45W charging. Rumors also claim that the device will feature a 4,200mAh battery.
Comparison with Razr 40 Ultra
Last year's Razr 40 Ultra had a smaller 3,800mAh battery with 30W wired charging and also offered 5W wireless charging.
Display and Camera Specifications
Recent reports indicate that the Razr 50 Ultra will feature a 4-inch P-OLED cover screen and a 6.9-inch P-OLED foldable display with an FHD+ resolution, a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a 165Hz refresh rate. For photography, it will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel dual-camera system on the back.
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip and run Android 14. It will come with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The dimensions will be 171 x 74 x 7.2mm, and it will weigh 184 grams.
