Motorola has unveiled the release date for the Edge 50 Ultra in India. This new addition will be the third device in the Edge 50 series following the Edge 50 Fusion and Edge 50, which were introduced last month in the country. Furthermore, Flipkart has launched a microsite for the Edge 50 Ultra, detailing its main specifications and confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform. The Edge 50 Ultra has already been launched in global markets.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra India Release Date
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is set to debut in India on June 18, Tuesday at 12 pm local time. It's confirmed that the Indian variant will share the same specifications as its global version. The phone will feature a square camera island on the back panel, housing a 50MP OIS main sensor, a secondary lens, and a periscope unit. The device will come with IP68 certification and will be available in both wood finish and leather back panel variants.
Display and Performance
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will sport a Pantone-validated 3D curved display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits. The screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Internally, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Charging capabilities include 125W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless options. The smartphone is expected to receive 3 years of OS updates.

The microsite also highlights that the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will come equipped with several AI features, including AO magic canvas and AI adaptive stabilization. Additionally, it is teased to be the first phone in the world to feature Smart Connect, allowing users to seamlessly control and sync multiple devices.
