The phone features a PANTONE-validated camera system with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), ensuring natural and life-like colors in photos and videos, thanks to the collaboration with PANTONE.
Color Options and Build
The S50 Neo is available in three colors: Gray, Olivine, and Surf. The latter two colors are crafted with high-tech nano-leather, providing a lambskin-like texture for a soft touch feel.
On the front, the device sports a micro-curved P-OLED screen with a peak brightness of 1600 nits. This display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, and DCI-P3 wide color gamut. With narrow bezels, the screen offers a 91.6% screen-to-body ratio. For durability, the phone uses Corning Gorilla Glass and includes SGS eye protection certification and DC dimming, beneficial for extended use, especially in low-light settings.
Camera and Design
The rear of the Moto S50 Neo houses a dual camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS, alongside an 8MP secondary camera. The front features a 32MP punch-hole selfie camera.
In terms of in-hand experience, the phone has slightly rounded edges, with both the display and back panel curved on the sides, enhancing comfort. It is also lightweight, weighing between 171 g and 173 g depending on whether the back is made of plastic or eco-leather. The phone is 7.6mm thick.
Performance and Battery
Powered by the 6nm processed Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, the Moto S50 Neo offers different memory and storage configurations: 256GB with 8GB RAM, 256GB with 12GB RAM, and 512GB with 12GB RAM. It includes a 5000mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging.
