The Moto G15 Power is the newest smartphone from Motorola and it comes with a notably large battery. It’s important not to mix it up with the Moto G Power 5G 2024, which is currently available for $199.99 on Amazon. The Moto G15 Power is designed around a significant 6,000 mAh battery that supports 18 W wired charging.
Size and Display
Despite having a bigger battery than many recent smartphones, the device weighs just 203 g and has dimensions of 165.7 x 76 x 8.8 mm. The smartphone also features a 6.67-inch IPS display that offers a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches and drops.
Camera and Performance
In terms of photography, the Moto G15 Power comes equipped with a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8 MP front camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme chipset. To clarify, this chipset is a new addition to the Helio G81 series, with the only difference being that the Helio G81 Extreme has ARM Cortex-A55 efficiency cores that are 100 MHz slower compared to the Helio G81 Ultra.
Memory and Availability
Also, the Moto G15 Power includes 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers 256 GB of storage that can be expanded. The device ships with Android 15 pre-installed, and users can add more storage using MicroSD cards if needed. Unfortunately, Motorola hasn't disclosed the price of the device yet, but it has mentioned that the Moto G15 Power will eventually be available in "select markets" throughout Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
