Meizu Unveils Note 21, Note 21 Pro, and Meizu 21 Globally

Meizu has expanded its latest smartphone offerings to international markets following a China-only release earlier this year. The lineup includes the Note 21, Note 21 Pro, and the recently unveiled Meizu 21. Here's a closer look at what these mid-range devices have to offer.

Specifications of Meizu Note 21 and Note 21 Pro

The Note 21 series presents large FHD+ IPS LCD screens. The Note 21 features a 6.74-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, whereas the Pro model upgrades to a 6.78-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. For selfies, the Note 21 uses an 8MP camera, while the Pro version includes a 13MP front-facing sensor.

Turning to the rear cameras, the Note 21 is equipped with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The Note 21 Pro enhances this with a 64MP primary camera alongside the same 2MP depth sensor.

Meizu Note 21

Meizu has not disclosed the exact eight-core processor in the standard Note 21. The Pro model, however, is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, a chip commonly found in more budget-friendly phones. Both devices come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage via microSD cards.

Despite Meizu's recent emphasis on AI, neither phone appears to feature AI capabilities. Details on the software are limited, but it's likely they will operate on Meizu's FlymeOS.

Meizu Note 21 Pro

The battery configurations reflect different priorities. The Note 21 includes a large 6,000mAh battery supporting 18W charging, emphasizing endurance. In contrast, the Note 21 Pro offers a smaller 4,950mAh battery but faster 30W charging.

Meizu 21 Specifications

The Meizu 21 comes with a 6.55-inch OLED FHD+ display, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and ultra-thin 1.74mm symmetrical bezels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and includes a 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging. It runs on Android 14 with Flyme 10.5.

The rear camera setup of the Meizu 21 includes a 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. A 32-megapixel front camera is provided for selfies. Additional features include an Aicy smart RGB-LED ring on the back, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, dual speakers, and an IP54-certified body.
