LG Electronics has introduced its new B4 series of OLED TVs, designed to appeal to both movie buffs and gamers alike.
The B4 series features self-illuminating OLED pixels, ensuring rich blacks and vibrant colors for a captivating viewing experience. Equipped with the Alpha 8 AI processor, the TVs automatically adjust picture settings based on the content displayed. Movie aficionados will appreciate the Dolby Vision and Atmos compatibility, which brings a cinematic experience right into the living room.
Gaming Features
Gamers will find the B4 series particularly appealing due to its rapid 0.1ms response time and 120Hz refresh rate, which eliminate blur and tearing, providing smooth action sequences. The TVs also support NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium, and VRR, further reducing screen tearing.
Smart Features and Pricing
These OLED TVs come loaded with smart features, including built-in support for Amazon Alexa, Apple AirPlay, and Google Assistant. Additionally, users have access to over 300 free channels via LG Channels or can opt for premium content through various streaming services.
Available in 55-, 65-, and 77-inch models, the B4 series starts at an attractive $1,699, making it a more budget-friendly alternative compared to the previous C4 series. LG is offering an introductory discount on the 55-inch model, reducing the price to $1,499.
New Washing Machine
Alongside the new TVs, LG has also launched the 14kg Mijing washing machine in China. This innovative appliance features “AI direct-drive frequency conversion” technology, which detects fabric types and adjusts the washing cycle accordingly. LG claims this tech not only reduces clothing damage by 30% but also increases energy efficiency by 25%.
