Lenovo has introduced their latest laptop, the IdeaPad 15s, which is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U processor priced at 3,099 yuan.
Processor and Performance
The laptop is powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U processor, which features Zen 3 architecture with 6 cores and 12 threads. It can reach a maximum acceleration frequency of 4.3 GHz. Although it is slightly lower in performance compared to the 7530U model, it comes with integrated Vega 7 core graphics. While the laptop can manage regular graphics tasks well, it may struggle with running graphic-intensive games and software.
Display and Design
The IdeaPad 15s sports a 15.6-inch display with a 1080p resolution. It also includes a physical camera privacy shield for enhanced security. Despite being a standard feature, the laptop also offers a numeric keypad for added convenience. This inclusion is notable as many compact form factor laptops often sacrifice the numeric keypad for design purposes. Weighing just 1.6kg and measuring 17.9mm thin, the IdeaPad 15s comes with a 47Wh battery that provides an estimated 13.3 hours of local 1080p video playback.
