Lava has officially introduced a new budget-friendly smartphone in India. The new model, Yuva 5G, is an entry-level device that supports 5G connectivity. Despite its affordable price, it features a smooth display, a larger battery, and more. Here’s a detailed look at the specifications and pricing.

Lava Yuva 5G Specifications

Even though the Lava Yuva 5G is an entry-level phone, it boasts a glass back design with a matte finish. It comes with a 6.52-inch LCD panel offering HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 2.5D curved glass. Internally, the device is powered by the UNISOC T750 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Users can also expand the RAM virtually and add more storage via a microSD card slot.

The smartphone is fueled by a sizeable 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W wired fast charging through a USB Type-C port. For photography, it features a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary camera on the back, along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Additional features include stock Android 13 OS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual SIM support, and face unlock.

Pricing and Availability

The Lava Yuva 5G has been launched in India with a starting price of 9,499 INR for the 4GB + 64GB variant. The 128GB model is priced at 9,999 INR. It is available exclusively on Amazon, Lava’s official online store, and through its retail network. The smartphone is offered in two color choices: Mystic Green and Mystic Blue. The first sale is scheduled to begin on 5th June 2024.
