Lava has announced that the successor to the Agni 2 5G, the Lava Agni 3, will be launched in India. The official release date for this new device is confirmed for October 4.

Expected Features of Lava Agni 3
Before the official announcement, live images of the Lava Agni 3 have been shared by tipster Mukul Sharma on X. The images show a device with curved edges on the back and what appears to be a dual-camera arrangement.
According to the tipster, the Agni 3 will feature a customizable button, akin to the Action button found on iPhones. This will allow users to assign specific functions to that button according to their preferences.
Innovative Additions and Specifications
In addition to the customizable button, there are speculations about a small secondary display on the back of the Lava Agni 3, reminiscent of the Xiaomi 11 Ultra. Another tipster mentioned that this rear display is “tiny” and may offer basic functions such as quick access controls. However, its practicality will depend on how Lava implements it.
The Lava Agni 3 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to its predecessor, the Agni 2. It is likely to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, Lava's software experience is close to stock Android, and the Agni 3 may come pre-installed with Android 14.
