Honor has officially confirmed that its upcoming launch event on November 23 will focus on the Honor 100 series of smartphones. The brand has also provided some details about the design of the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro models.
Reservations for both the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro are now open through Honor Mall, Tmall, and JD. Official images of the smartphones are available on these platforms, giving us a glimpse of their front and rear designs.
Both the Honor 100 and 100 Pro feature a curved-edge OLED panel on the front. The standard model has a small cutout for the front camera, while the Pro model has a pill-shaped cutout, indicating the possibility of dual front-facing cameras. The rear camera module of both phones showcases a different design, and both are equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).
Moving on to the rumored specifications, reports suggest that the Honor 100 will come with an OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution and high-frequency dimming for eye protection. It is expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and will feature a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. The rear camera module is speculated to include a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a telephoto camera with 2x zoom.
On the other hand, the Honor 100 Pro is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and also support 100W charging. Further details about the phone are yet to be revealed.
