iQOO is gearing up to unveil the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ smartphone in China this September. This new model will join the Z9 series, which already includes the Z9x, Z9, and Z9 Turbo. Launched in China earlier this April, these devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. It is anticipated that the forthcoming Z9 Turbo+ will closely resemble the current Z9 Turbo. The key difference, however, will be the integration of a Dimensity chipset in the Plus model. Recently, the Z9 Turbo+, believed to carry the model number V2417A, was spotted in the MIIT certification database in China. Additionally, the device has now received approval from China’s 3C certification platform, indicating an imminent launch, possibly in September.

Rumored Specifications of iQOO Z9 Turbo+

According to the tipster, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will boast a 6.78-inch flat OLED display. It is expected to deliver a 1.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen will also feature a short-focus optical-type in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Underneath, the smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus, which is currently the most advanced MediaTek chip. The device is also likely to house a 6,000mAh battery. However, details regarding the phone’s RAM and storage capacity remain unknown.

On the front, the iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus could feature a 16-megapixel camera. The rear camera assembly may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel lens.
