iQOO will introduce their affordable flagship phone, the Z9 Turbo, this month in China. Through Weibo posts showcasing images displaying its rear design, chipset, battery capacity and various specifications iQOO revealed new details regarding their launch event.
Design Details Revealed
Initial views of the iQOO Z9 Turbo reveal its striking flat edges and rectangular camera module housing two cameras as well as OIS logo, flanked by dual tone dual LED flash lighting positioned adjacent. This device recalls in its aesthetic a simplified version of iQOO 12 series designs.
Cutting-Edge Features
The iQOO Z9 Turbo will become one of the first devices to integrate Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, an improved variant of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, last month with Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro being introduced as its world first SD8sG3 phone in China; Redmi Turbo 3, set for release April 10, will also rely on this chipset.
Advanced Specifications
Beyond its chipset, the iQOO Z9 Turbo will boast an independent graphics chip, 6K VC heat dissipation system and substantial 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Leaks indicate the device may feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display featuring 1.5K resolution at 144Hz refresh rate as well as 12GB/16GB LPDDR5x RAM respectively with up to 512GB UFS storage for both front-facing and ultra wide dual cameras of 16 MP + 8MP respectively for its dual camera setups.
