Lava Launches Yuva 3 Pro Smartphone in India
Lava has officially launched the Yuva 3 Pro smartphone in India today. This budget smartphone is the successor to the Yuva 2 Pro released earlier this year. Despite significant upgrades, the Yuva 3 Pro is priced only ₹1,000 higher than its predecessor.
Specifications
The Lava Yuva 3 Pro features a revamped design with a flat frame and a glass back. On the rear, it has vertically aligned dual cameras placed above a platform reminiscent of the Galaxy S22.
The device boasts a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with an LCD panel offering an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, 269 PPI, and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Unisoc T616 chip coupled with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Running on Android 13, the device is guaranteed to receive 2 years of security updates.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera accompanied by an unspecified secondary sensor. For selfies, it sports an 8MP front-facing camera.
In terms of biometrics, the Yuva 3 Pro features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot, and a USB Type-C port. Wireless connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS.
To keep the device running, it is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging.
Pricing and Availability
The Lava Yuva 3 Pro is available in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at only ₹8,999 (~$110). Customers can choose from three color options: Desert Gold, Forest Viridian, or Meadow Purple.
The device is currently available for pre-order starting today (December 14) via the Lava e-store and offline stores.
