Earlier today, HUAWEI held a launch event where they introduced the Mate 70 series smartphones, the Huawei Watch Ultimate Design smartwatch, and the Mate X6 smartphones. They also revealed the 2025 version of the MatePad Pro 13.2, a premium tablet boasting a bigger screen and enhanced capabilities compared to its earlier model.

The MatePad Pro 13.2 (2025) comes equipped with a 13.2-inch 2.8K 144Hz flexible OLED display that provides bright colors and excellent contrast. With a 94% screen-to-body ratio, it reduces bezels to create a captivating viewing experience. The PaperMatte Edition offers a textured and anti-glare surface, making it ideal for users who enjoy a paper-like touch.

Features and Performance

This tablet is bundled with the 3rd-generation M-Pencil stylus, which is crafted for low-latency and precise input. The Fangtian Painting Engine 2.0 supports an 8K canvas and can handle more than 500 layers, making it perfect for seamless creative tasks, including strokes at a speed of 120 fps. Although Huawei has not shared details about the processor, it claims that the tablet offers high performance and efficient multitasking due to its ample RAM. The device is powered by a dual-cell 5050mAh battery (totaling 10100mAh), allowing for prolonged usage. Its 100W Turbo Charging technology enables quick charging, reaching 85% in just 40 minutes and achieving a full charge in 55 minutes.

The MatePad Pro 13.2 is available in Ink Stone Black, White, and Gold, with different configuration options. The entry-level model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at 5,199 yuan (approximately USD 718), while the premium Collector’s Edition featuring 16GB RAM and 1TB storage comes at a price of 10,599 yuan (roughly USD 1,464).
