The Honor Router 5 has been unveiled in China as a new home router that supports WiFi 7 connectivity. This next-generation router, introduced at the Honor press conference on July 12, features an artistic design.

Featuring a 5-antenna surround layout, the Honor Router 5 offers broad signal coverage and speeds of up to 3,600Mbps. It supports 4K QAM and MLO dual-band aggregation technology, making it theoretically up to 48% faster than WiFi 6 on 5GHz and up to 520% faster than WiFi 6 on 2.4GHz.

Advanced Features

Equipped with the Link Turbo engine, the Honor Router 5 provides low latency and supports AI network acceleration. Users can connect to the internet easily by scanning a QR code, and the router also supports Honor mesh networking. Its AI dual-band optimization allows for seamless switching and smart frequency band optimization. Whether used in small apartments or large houses, this router promises full signal coverage and high performance.

Pricing & Availability

The Honor Router 5 is available in a white colorway, with potential for other color variants in the future. It is priced at 349 yuan ($48) and can be purchased from JD.com. The router is also expected to become available on other international retail platforms like AliExpress, Amazon, and eBay, which currently offer previous Honor router models.
