Honor unveiled the Magic V Flip series last week in China, featuring a high-end variant, the Magic V Flip Jimmy Choo limited edition. This special model, designed by the renowned fashion icon Jimmy Choo, is now available for purchase in China. It comes equipped with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, priced at 6,999 Yuan ($964).
Honor Magic V Flip Specifications
The Honor Magic V Flip offers the largest cover display among flip phones, with a 4-inch 120Hz LTPO display capable of 2,500 nits peak brightness. The internal display is a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO screen that supports HDR 10+, DCI-P3, BT.2020, Dolby Vision, and achieves up to 3000 nits peak brightness.
This dual-screen setup is designed to utilize space efficiently, showing notifications and time below the dual camera rings, while the rest of the display runs apps and videos. It features a durable Luban Hinge with a five-star SGS certification. The phone measures 7.15mm when open and 14.89mm when folded, and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and Adreno 730 GPU, the phone operates on Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0. It offers a variety of connectivity options such as 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
