Honor has unveiled a new high-speed charging mobile power bank named “Joway 66W” as part of its Honor Choice series. Priced at 179 yuan (around $25), it is currently available for purchase on JD.com.
Joway 66W Power Bank Specifications
With a capacity of 12000mAh, the power bank offers Type-C bi-directional fast charging, enabling quick charging and recharging. In SCP (SuperCharge) mode, it can provide up to 66W of power, drastically cutting down charging times. According to Honor, it can charge the Honor Magic 6 from 0% to 100% in only 45 minutes, and it takes just 103 minutes to fully recharge the power bank itself.
The Joway 66W supports various popular charging protocols including SCP, PD3.0, FCP, and QC3.0, making it compatible with a wide array of smartphones, laptops, and devices from brands like Huawei, Xiaomi, and Apple.
Dual-Port Output and Safety Features
This power bank is equipped with dual-port output featuring both Type-C and Type-A ports. It also has a dedicated low-current charging mode for low-power devices such as Honor smartwatches, smart bands, and Bluetooth headphones, which can be activated by double-clicking the button.
The Joway 66W comes with a range of safety features including battery core overcharge protection, input overvoltage protection, temperature protection, overdischarge protection, undervoltage protection, input overcurrent protection, output overcurrent protection, and output overvoltage protection. Its shell is made from durable PC+ABS material.
