Honor CEO, Zhao Ming, believes that the Magic V3 will prompt faster product development from other brands in the industry. In an interview, Zhao mentioned that they are eager for their competitors to catch up quickly. When asked about the possibility of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 breaking the Magic V3’s record, Zhao Ming stated that he is not concerned about this. His main focus is on the development and definition of foldable screens and how to make them comparable to traditional candy-bar phones.

Zhao also noted that with the integration of the latest technologies and new materials, foldable devices could potentially offer a better user experience than standard candy-bar phones. Although he didn’t confirm whether the company plans to make the Honor Magic 4 even thinner, he emphasized that Honor will make significant investments in flagship phones and use these advancements to drive the progress of the entire product lineup.
