Honor 300 Pro Launch: Design and Color Options Revealed

Honor has officially unveiled the design of its soon-to-be-released Honor 300 Pro, ramping up excitement for the 300 series. The device boasts a stylish curved display and comes in three chic colors: Ink Rock Black, Tea Green, and Starlight Sand, merging aesthetics with functionality. The Pro version is offered in three different storage variants: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB, catering to diverse user storage preferences.

Design Details of the Base Model

Following a tease from a company representative about the smooth design of the standard model, the Honor 300 features a flat screen and is available in five distinctive colors: Luyan Purple, Moyan Black, Chaka Green, Cangshan Gray, and Yulong Snow. The representative noted its slim profile, drawing attention to the base model's 6.97mm thickness, which is described as “thinner than a straw.”

What's New with the Honor 300 Series?

The Honor 300 series is expected to represent a major advancement for the brand. Rumors indicate that the series will sport a sharper 1.5K resolution, surpassing the FHD+ displays of the previous generation. The Honor 300 Pro and Pro+ are anticipated to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, promising remarkable performance. In contrast, the standard model is likely to feature a Snapdragon 7 series processor. For reference, last year’s Honor 200 utilized the 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip.

Fast Charging and Enhanced Features

Reports suggest that the series will support 100W wired charging, as verified by 3C certification. Wireless charging is also on the horizon, particularly for the Pro variants. Additionally, users can expect improved experiences with the introduction of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, replacing the optical sensors found in last year's models.

In China, four devices from the Honor 300 lineup have reportedly received 3C certifications, indicating the potential arrival of a budget-friendly ‘Lite’ or ‘Smart’ variant alongside the new Pro+ model. The Pro+ is particularly noteworthy for its triple-lens camera with an innovative layout, which promises an attractive design paired with advanced photography features.
