Honor is preparing to introduce a range of new smartphones shortly, with recent benchmarks uncovering the processors for two upcoming models. One device from the Honor 300 series has recently appeared on GeekBench, along with the Magic 7 Lite. Let’s dive into the details.
Honor 300 Series & Magic 7 Lite Specs
The company is planning to launch the Honor 300 series of high-end smartphones in China on December 2, 2024. This collection includes the standard Honor 300, Honor 300 Pro, Honor 300 Pro+, and Honor 300 Ultra. The more advanced Pro and Ultra versions are likely to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a top-tier processor. An Honor 300 series phone (Honor AMP-AN00) was identified on GeekBench featuring this same chipset and 16GB of RAM (Source: 91Mobiles).
Honor 300 Overview
This particular model was also noted to run on the Android 15 operating system right from the start. Earlier in the month, the Honor 300 Pro+ was spotted on 3C certification, boasting satellite connectivity among other features. In addition to these premium devices, the Chinese brand is also developing a mid-range model from the Magic 7 line. The upcoming phone is the Honor Magic 7 Lite (Honor BRP-NX1M). In contrast to the Honor 300, the Magic 7 Lite is equipped with 8GB of RAM and comes with the Android 14 OS pre-installed. It is a budget-friendly option since it includes the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
