Honor recently introduced its latest smartphone, the Honor 200 Lite, on a global scale. Following this release, the company is poised to unveil the Honor 200 and the Honor 200 Pro in the near future. While purported images of the Honor 200 Pro were shared on Weibo and subsequently circulated on Twitter, Jiang Hairong, the Chief Marketing Officer at Honor China, dismissed these images as "fake," asserting that the actual device will boast an improved appearance.
Alleged Renders Debunked
Despite the leaked renders of the Honor 200 Pro, Honor's CMO clarified that these images were not authentic and assured that the final design would be more impressive.
Specifications and Features
According to leaks, both the Honor 200 and 200 Pro are expected to support 100W fast charging, as per information obtained from the 3C certification site. Reports also suggest that the phones will sport a quad-curved OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. The Pro model may include a dual selfie camera setup housed within a pill-shaped cutout.
Performance and Chipset
The Honor 200 is anticipated to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro version might be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In comparison, the Honor 100 and 100 Pro, launched in November 2023, were powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively.
Expected Release
Rumors circulating earlier this week suggest that the Honor 200 series could make its debut by the end of May. If these speculations hold true, official announcements regarding the devices are likely imminent. Stay tuned for further updates on the Honor 200 and 200 Pro smartphones.
