The Google Pixel 8a, as depicted in leaked renders, will be available in four color options: Obsidian, Mint, Porcelain, and Bay. In terms of design, it appears to be a more subdued version of the Pixel 8 series, maintaining a familiar look. The device is likely to feature a flat OLED panel on the front and a horizontal camera module on the back, housing dual cameras and an LED flash. Its construction is expected to include a polycarbonate body with rounded edges.

Speculations hint at the usage of the Tensor G3 chipset, similar to the Pixel 8 series, coupled with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB. Additionally, it could house a 4,500mAh battery supporting 27W fast charging and 7.5W wireless charging.

While the Pixel 7a was priced at CAD 599 in Canada for the 128 GB variant, the Pixel 8a is anticipated to be priced higher. Recent reports suggest that the 128 GB and 256 GB models of the Pixel 8a may retail at CAD 710 and CAD 790, respectively.
