Samsung has introduced the One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI on its latest Galaxy S24 series smartphones. As promised, the brand is extending the Galaxy AI to older flagships, starting with updates for the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S9 series in March.

- Provides suggestions to enhance grammar and phrasing while composing messages.
- Supports 13 different languages.
Circle to Search with Google:
- Allows users to circle an object or area on the screen to access more information.
Generative Edit:
- Enables users to eliminate unwanted elements from photos, reposition objects, and adjust perspectives for better composition.
Instant Slow-Mo:
- AI processing transforms regular videos into slow-motion footage.
Interpreter:
- Split-screen conversation mode facilitates real-time communication between individuals speaking different languages.
Live Translate:
- Delivers real-time translations for voice calls and supported messaging apps.
Note Assist:
- Summarizes text within the Samsung Notes app and can apply specific formatting styles to the summary.
Transcript Assist:
- Works in conjunction with the Samsung Voice Recorder app to transcribe audio, tag multiple speakers, and create summaries of recordings.
Edit Suggestion:
- Provides personalized editing recommendations for photos.
The update rollout has commenced and is expected to reach all eligible devices soon. If you haven't received the OTA update notification, you can manually check for it by going to Settings > System updates > Check for system updates.
