Design Features

To kick things off, a leaked photo from this latest info drop shows that the currently unnamed compact camera will include just one exposure compensation dial on its top, unlike former Fujifilm models that sported film simulation, ISO, and other dials. There’s a tiny cutout on the back of the camera alongside a lever that may adjust the exposure compensation dial, although its exact function remains uncertain.

Viewfinder and Flash

Moreover, the leaker disclosed that what was previously believed to be an electronic viewfinder (EVF) is, in fact, a traditional optical viewfinder, positioned in the standard top left corner. Continuing with the rangefinder-style motif, there appears to be a sizable diffuse flash located on the front of the compact model.

Lens and Accessories

The upcoming compact camera will also come with a fixed lens akin to the popular Fujifilm X100VI. While the leaker has obscured some printed details on the lens’s front, it seems you can faintly detect a maximum aperture of 2.8 on the aperture ring located near the rear of the lens barrel.
