OnePlus has rolled out a complimentary screen replacement scheme in India for certain smartphone models facing the “green line” display issue. This initiative caters to OnePlus 8 Pro, 8T, 9, and 9R models, providing users with a free screen replacement.
Expansion Plans to Other Regions
This step is in response to the growing occurrence of the “green line” issue, a hardware malfunction often confused with a software glitch. OnePlus aims to alleviate customer concerns and improve device longevity through this initiative.
Although currently exclusive to India, OnePlus has indicated plans to possibly extend the program to other regions. Additionally, the company has introduced new screen technology to enhance moisture and temperature resistance.
