The DJI Goggles N3 have been anticipated for a long time. However, they might make their official appearance a bit earlier than many thought. To give some background, the idea of DJI launching a new set of first-person view (FPV) goggles was first hinted at in August. It wasn’t until this month that a photo of the device surfaced online.
Release Date Update
From the information currently out there, it appeared that the Goggles N3 would be released in early November. Some insiders, like Jasper Ellens, suggested potential dates of November 5 or November 7. However, this same leaker has now indicated that the headset is set to launch on October 30 globally.
Certification and Pricing
In line with this, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has certified the Goggles N3 for sale in the United States. Although the pricing in the US is still unknown, it is believed that the headset will retail for €269 in Europe. Additionally, there’s a €529 price tag associated with a Neo Motion Combo package that includes the Neo drone, which debuted earlier this summer (currently priced at $195.94 used on Amazon).
Specifications Revealed
Furthermore, several leakers have shared a specific set of specifications, which are listed below. According to an alleged leaked official promotional document, the Goggles N3 is expected to feature a 1080p resolution, OcuSync 4 video transmission capabilities, and a battery life of up to 2.7 hours.
