The POCO M6 5G is set to make its debut in India on December 22, 2023, at 12 PM IST. Ahead of the launch, POCO has released a teaser image showcasing the storage options of the upcoming budget smartphone.
POCO M6 5G Storage Teaser
POCO, the Chinese smartphone maker, has shared a teaser image poster on X (formerly Twitter). The image suggests that the POCO M6 5G will come with up to 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. POCO has also revealed the pricing of the device, with the base model starting from under 10,000 INR (approximately 120 US Dollars). As the base model is priced at 9,4XX INR, it can be assumed that the 256GB variant will cost over 10,000K INR.
Impressive Specifications
Based on the information available, the POCO M6 5G will feature a large 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 600 nits of peak brightness, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Powering the device will be a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The smartphone is expected to come in different RAM and storage configurations, including 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM, along with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. The storage can also be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot.
Impressive Camera and Software
The POCO M6 5G will sport a 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear, while the front will house a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The device will run on Android 13 OS with the MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box. It is worth noting that there are rumors suggesting that the POCO M6 5G is a rebranded version of the recently released Redmi 13C 5G in the region.
