A new version of the Neomouv Allegria 2 e-bike has been listed by Decathlon in France. The Allegria 2 has an integrated battery and is designed for city riding. It has many similarities to its predecessor, as well as key differences.
The new Neomouv Allegria 2 e-bike features a step-through frame design with a ZOOM aluminum suspension fork that offers 45mm of travel. The e-bike has a weight of 29kg and can support a load of up to 150kg, including the battery. Unlike the older model, the 522Wh battery of the Neomouv Allegria 2 is integrated into the down tube rather than being mounted on the rear rack.
Motor and Performance
The e-bike is powered by a 250W 80Nm Neoassist 2 mid-mounted motor. This electric motor provides assistance speeds up to 25km/h and features a pedal sensor that automatically adjusts power delivery. The battery offers an assistance range of up to 100km. A color LCD on the left handlebar displays information such as battery status and assistance level.
Features and Pricing
The Allegria 2 e-bike comes equipped with a Shimano Altus 7-speed derailleur, hydraulic disc brakes, mudguards, lighting, and a luggage rack. Customers can choose between 26-inch and 28-inch wheels, both of which feature 2-inch Hutchinson Republic tires.
The new Neomouv Allegria 2 electric bicycle is available on Decathlon France for €2,199 ($2,385), although both wheel size options are currently out of stock. This listing could precede the full release of the e-bike in other European markets and beyond.
