Cuktech has launched a new power bank in China that also doubles as a power adapter. This versatile portable charger has a configuration with three ports: two USB Type-C ports and one USB Type-A port. The combined power output for these connections is 67W.
Charging Capability
Cuktech mentions that not every device will benefit fully from the 67W fast charging capability. According to their promotional material, this level of charging is specifically designed for Xiaomi phones; other devices will reach a maximum of 60W. Fortunately, it supports various charging protocols, including ADC 2.0.
Compact Design
The Cuktech CP16 stands out with its unique form factor. Utilizing GaN technology allows this hybrid power bank to have a small and travel-friendly design. Additionally, it features a foldable AC plug, enhancing its portability.
Passthrough Charging
Moreover, the company emphasizes that the device allows passthrough charging, meaning users can recharge three devices simultaneously while the charger is connected to a wall outlet. To maintain safe and stable charging, Cuktech has added a specialized cooling solution along with several safety features.
Key Features and Pricing
Among the other attractive features of this hybrid power bank are its 5,000mAh battery capacity, certification for air travel, and a stylish appearance. The Cuktech CP16 is priced at CNY 169 in China, which is approximately $23. There hasn’t been any announcement regarding its availability outside of China, but Cuktech generally sells most of its products in international markets (like the 45W Cuktech power bank with a 20,000mAh capacity currently priced at $26.99 on Amazon).
