The Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, which were initially launched in China in August 2022, have now made their global debut at MWC 2023. These wireless earbuds were introduced alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. After being on the market for almost one and a half years, the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro are currently available at a discounted price in China.
Xiaomi has decided to slash the price of its flagship TWS ahead of the Chinese New Year. Originally priced at ¥1,099 ($155), the earbuds can now be purchased for just ¥779 ($110). This new offer brings down the price by ¥320 ($45) compared to the previous selling price of ¥999 (~$140).
It is important to note that customers can obtain a discount coupon of ¥300 ($40) without any additional requirements. However, to avail the extra ¥20 ($5) discount coupon, the total value of the cart must be above ¥400 (~$55). This promotional offer is valid from January 12 to February 17.
Despite the additional discount, the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro remain a great deal considering the features they offer. These earbuds house 11mm drivers and connect via Bluetooth 5.3. They also support quick pairing with Xiaomi smartphones and tablets. Additionally, the buds are Hi-Res Audio Wireless-certified and support the Sony LDAC high-bitrate audio codec.
Similar to other premium wireless earbuds, the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro come with ANC (active noise cancellation) and transparency modes. These features are claimed to reduce external noise by up to 48dB. The earbuds also offer touch gesture controls and can be connected to two devices simultaneously. With an IP54 rating for splash resistance, they are suitable for outdoor use. Furthermore, users have the option to customize the audio profiles of the earbuds through a companion app.
Last but not least, the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro boast a head tracking-based 3D sound feature, enhancing the listening experience for users. With their impressive specifications and discounted price, these earbuds are certainly worth considering for those in the market for a new audio accessory.
