Caviar Launches Custom Huawei Mate XT Ultimate in 24K Gold & Leather

Caviar has introduced the first-ever custom tri-fold Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, which is made using luxurious materials such as gold, carbon, titanium, and crocodile leather. With a starting price of $12,770, this high-end edition is aimed at tech aficionados after the recent release of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate in China.

Caviar Mate XT Ultimate Specifications

The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate holds the title of the first triple-fold smartphone globally, featuring three screens and achieving over six million pre-orders already. While the standard version of the Mate XT comes in faux leather finishes in red and black, Caviar enhances this design with their exclusive "Rich Colors" collection.

This collection includes two special versions: Gold Dragon and Black Dragon. Both smartphones are made from top-quality materials, combining traditional Chinese culture with contemporary technology.

The Gold Dragon model stands out as the flagship of this collection, featuring 24K gold applied through Double Electroplating technology. Its detailed patterns are inspired by the age-old Chinese art of multi-layer sword forging from Longquan, a technique that dates back over 3,000 years. The decorative elements are reminiscent of the iconic camera frame of the Mate XT, turning the device into a one-of-a-kind collector's item.

Conversely, the Black Dragon version draws inspiration from the mythical Xuanlong in Chinese lore. It showcases black crocodile leather that mimics dragon scales, along with gold-plated details. This model radiates power and elegance, making it an impressive piece for those who appreciate luxury design.

Pricing and Availability

Caviar's custom Huawei Mate XT Ultimate comes in storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The starting price for the Black Dragon model is $12,770, while the Gold Dragon version begins at $14,500.

Each version is released as a limited edition, with only 88 units produced, celebrating the number 8, which is regarded as the luckiest number in Chinese culture. Last month, Caviar also unveiled a gold-plated iPhone 16 Pro in the exclusive Desert Titanium color, starting at $10,630.
