Additionally, an issue affecting the Round Trip Routing feature, which sometimes led to the smartwatch shutting down unexpectedly, has been fixed. Furthermore, a problem where sleep data was not recorded has also been addressed. According to the post, over 50% of users with the Fenix 7 and similar smartwatches can now access the beta update, although it’s uncertain when the full rollout will happen.

New Casio GM-S2110 Hybrid Watches with Stainless Steel Bezel

Casio has introduced two new analog-digital timepieces in the United States: the GMS2110-7A6 and the GMS2110-7A9. These models are deemed “fashionable,” featuring a stainless steel bezel along with a white resin body and strap. The dials of the watches are vibrant, with the 7A6 showcasing a metallic purple hue and the 7A9 sporting a metallic beige color.

    Features and Specifications

When it comes to functionality, the new GM-S2110 watches bear a striking resemblance to their predecessors. Users have the option to select from 31 different time zones, and the calendar is programmed to automatically update through the year 2099. Casio states that these models maintain accuracy within 15 seconds each month. Notable features include a stopwatch accurate to 1/100th of a second, a countdown timer, five daily alarms, and an hourly chime. The LED backlight, known as the Super Illuminator, enhances visibility in low-light settings, making it easier to read the time.

    Durability and Pricing

In addition, these shock-resistant watches are designed to withstand water pressures up to 20 bar, and they are powered by a CR1025 battery that can last for three years. The Casio GMS2110-7A6 and GMS2110-7A9 are currently available for purchase in the U.S. at a price of $180, which aligns with the pricing of other GM-S2110 models (currently discounted to $166.99 on Amazon). Withings ScanWatch Nova: Hybrid Smartwatch with ECG Now Available

Withings has introduced the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant globally after its unveiling in September. This hybrid smartwatch closely resembles the original ScanWatch Nova that became available at the end of 2023.

    Design Features

The ScanWatch Nova Brilliant comes in Titanium-Grey and Gold shades, featuring a white watch face instead of black, lending it a more refined look. The face measures 39 mm (~1.5 inches), which is smaller compared to the previous version’s 42 mm (~1.7 inches) diameter. In addition to the leather and recycled P.E.T wristbands, users can now choose a new Milanese strap. One notable change is the reduced waterproof rating; the Brilliant model is rated at 5ATM, while the original boasted a 10ATM rating.

    Similar Functionality

Despite these differences, the functions of both smartwatches are the same. Users can monitor biometrics, including heart rate and temperature, thanks to an ECG feature that also detects early signs of health issues. The smartwatch allows for sleep tracking and exercise monitoring as well. Furthermore, it has an impressive battery life, lasting up to 30 days on a single charge. The Withings ScanWatch Nova Brilliant is priced at $599.95/£549.95/€599.95, matching the price of the first model.

    Availability

The release of the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant marks an exciting addition to Withings’ lineup, appealing to those looking for a stylish yet functional smartwatch. With its elegant design and comprehensive health monitoring capabilities, it continues the legacy of its predecessor while offering fresh options for consumers.

DJI Goggles N3: New FPV Headset with 1,350 Nits for $229

DJI has officially launched its new first-person view (FPV) headset, which is specifically made for the Neo and Avata 2 (currently priced at $999 on Amazon). This release follows many recent leaks about the product. The Goggles N3 comes at a much lower price point than the existing Goggles 3, which sells for $499 in the United States.

    Pricing Details

For comparison, the Goggles N3 is priced at €269 in Europe and $229 in the US. It’s no surprise that DJI’s latest FPV headset lacks some features found in the Goggles 3. The Goggles N3, for example, uses 3.5-inch and 60 Hz LCD screens instead of the 100 Hz Micro-OLED screens that are in the Goggles 3. Nevertheless, the LCD panels still provide a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, peak brightness of up to 1,350 nits, and a field of view (FoV) of 54°.

    Advanced Technology

Moreover, DJI has included its OcuSync 4 (O4) video transmission tech in this model, enabling a maximum video transmission bitrate of 60 Mbps. The DJI O4 system employs a 2T4R antenna configuration to transmit 1080p/60 FPS video from distances of up to 13 km with a latency of just 31 ms. The Goggles N3 also features SyncSmooth technology, which helps to ensure smooth video playback while offering around 2.7 hours of battery life on a single charge.

    Specifications and Availability

As for its dimensions, the Goggles N3 weighs 536 g when including the battery and headband, and it measures 193 × 163 × 103 mm, not counting the antennas. DJI plans to start selling the Goggles N3 later this month across various markets, with the product listing already available. Additionally, the Goggles N3 will be available for order as part of the Motion Fly More Combo for €529 (about $565) in Europe, which includes an RC Motion 3 controller, three batteries, and a Two-Way Charging Hub. However, DJI has yet to announce the pricing for the US market.
