Sherpa has broadened its Ultradive dive watch lineup by introducing two new models, the Ultradive Atoll and the Ultradive Tuxedo. These latest additions to Sherpa’s collection of dive watches showcase distinct design features while maintaining the essential qualities of the Ultradive series.
Design Details of the Tuxedo
The Tuxedo model comes equipped with a galvanized silver dial that features a sunray finish. This dial includes a date window located at the 3 o’clock mark, along with diamond-cut indices that are treated with Swiss Super-LumiNova Grade X1 lume. The design incorporates a blend of black and white elements that gives it a tuxedo-like appearance.
Features of the Atoll
In contrast, the Atoll boasts a turquoise painted dial complemented by a striking white outer bezel. Similar to the Tuxedo, it also has a date window at the 3 o’clock position and diamond-cut indices with black accents, all coated in Super-LumiNova lume to enhance visibility in dim conditions. Both timepieces feature a 40 mm stainless steel bayonet compressor case, along with two Monoflex compressor crowns—one for winding and setting time, while the other is for rotating the internal bezel.
Movement and Protection
The newest Ultradive models are powered by a Sellita SW200 movement, which is reported to provide a power reserve of up to 38 hours. Additionally, the escape wheel and seconds wheel are engraved with tiny Buddhist mantras, said to be the smallest in the world at only 1 mm long and 0.15 mm tall. To further shield the watches from accidental impacts and scratches, they are also fitted with a domed sapphire crystal that has an anti-reflective coating.
Both models come with a water resistance rating of 200 m (20 bar), consistent with the rest of the Ultradive series. Customers can now place orders for the Ultradive Tuxedo and Atoll through Sherpa’s official website, starting at a price of $6,700.
