AOC has once again added to its Agon Pro series, just a few weeks after the launch of the AG346UCD, currently priced at $599.99 on Amazon. The Agon Pro AG346UCD is a curved QD-OLED gaming monitor that delivers 1440p resolution at 175 Hz, but the latest model, the Agon Pro AG276FK, takes a different approach altogether.
New Features and Design
The AOC’s new 27-inch monitor features an IPS panel, providing a resolution of 1080p with a pixel density of 81.6 PPI. While this might not appear very impressive at first glance, the Agon Pro AG276FK has the capability to dynamically adjust its framerate from 48 Hz to a striking 520 Hz when required. It’s important to mention that the maximum framerate can only be reached via its DisplayPort 1.4 connection. Conversely, the HDMI 2.0 port restricts it to 240 Hz when using HDMI.

Asus has introduced the PA27JCV monitor, which seems to attract creative professionals in need of a large, precise display with high resolution. MSI MPG 321URXW: New White Gaming Monitor Unveiled
MSI has launched an updated version of its MPG 321URX monitor in China. Just to remind you, the MPG 321URX (currently priced at $949.99 on Amazon) is among several 32-inch gaming displays that use Gen 3 QD-OLED panels made by Samsung Display. The MPG 321URX has been on sale worldwide since February, having first been revealed a month earlier at CES 2024 in Las Vegas.

Since that time, MSI has rolled out a number of other QD-OLED monitors, including the MPG 491CQPX released in August. However, this latest version seems to have merely spruced up the MPG 321URX without making any significant changes. In essence, the new MPG 321URXW keeps the main features of the original MPG 321URX intact.

For instance, it offers a 4K resolution combined with a 240 Hz refresh rate, while achieving up to 0.03 ms GtG response times, though it only provides 250 nits of peak brightness. Additionally, the MPG 321URXW features 97% coverage of the AdobeRGB color space, support for Adaptive-Sync, and MSI’s OLED Care 2.0 technology designed to reduce the risk of image burn-in.
Connectivity Options and Availability
MSI also includes ports like HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C, the latter of which can power a laptop with up to 90 W. In summary, it looks like the MPG 321URXW enhances the MPG 321URX by introducing a white color option, which is reflected in its name. LG Launches First Stretchable Display: Expands 12 to 18 Inches
LG Display might have changed the game for "flexible" screens. On Friday, the South Korean firm presented a prototype for the first truly stretchable display in the world, able to grow by 50% without losing image quality.

This prototype boasts a 12-inch screen that can stretch to 18 inches while keeping a high resolution of 100 pixels per inch and full RGB color. Although this isn’t LG’s first go at a stretchable display, as they demonstrated a prototype in 2022 with a maximum elongation of only 20%.
A Game-Changing Innovation
LG labels its creation as “ultimate display technology.” Unlike the flexible displays we see today that bend or fold, these displays can actually morph, twist, and stretch into a multitude of shapes. This advancement paves the way for many innovative uses in different industries. The development comes from a national initiative led by South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, which started in 2020. LG Display heads a group of 19 research institutes that are part of this project.
The original goal was a 20% elongation rate, but the team managed to double that with new technologies. These innovations include a unique silicon substrate material that’s often used in contact lenses, along with a revolutionary method for wiring the display.
Built to Last
Durability is another important aspect. LG Display asserts that the prototype can endure stretching up to 10,000 times. Moreover, the display features a micro-LED light source that is merely 40 micrometers in size, ensuring stable image quality even in tough conditions like extreme temperatures or impacts.
