According to the microsite, the phone features a 50 MP primary camera equipped with Leica’s Summilux Lens. This main camera is complemented by a 50 MP Portrait telephoto camera with 2x zoom capability, as well as a 12 MP ultra-wide lens that offers a 120-degree field of view.

This represents a 35.5% and 33.9% improvement in single-core and multi-core performance, respectively, compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
In response to a user inquiry, the tipster confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be produced using TSMC’s 3nm technology. This is expected to enhance both performance and efficiency. However, the upgrade will come at a higher cost. A recent report indicated that devices featuring the new SoC will be priced around 4,500 yuan.
To provide some context, the Xiaomi 14 debuted at a starting price of 3,999 yuan ($550), which suggests an approximate price increase of 500 yuan ($70) for models with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. ASUS launched the ROG 8 series in January this year. While the ROG 9 series is still a few months away, it has made its initial appearance online with the model number ASUSAI2501C.
ROG Phone 9 Series
According to a report from Android Headlines, the ROG 9 series will feature two models – the ROG 9 and ROG 9 Pro, expected to arrive in Q1 2025. The specific model the number represents remains unclear.
Similar to other 2024 flagship smartphones, it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, set to launch later this year.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 was previously rumored to have a clock speed exceeding 4.00 GHz. According to Geekbench, the OPPO F27 Pro+ features a motherboard codenamed k6877va_64_k419 with six cores clocked at 2GHz and two cores at 2.60GHz, suggesting it will be powered by a Dimensity 7050 processor. The device will include 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 OS out of the box.
