    – The release is speculated for 2025, but pricing details are still unknown.

A new Philips Hue Bridge might be coming soon. The first version (v1) was introduced in 2012, and the second version (v2) followed in 2016. This smart hub lets users link up to 50 smart devices for remote and simultaneous control. Users have shown that it is possible to connect up to 63 devices, but doing so might reduce performance.

    New Developments

A recent article from Hueblog.com indicates that a third-generation Philips Hue Bridge could be in the works. It is said that this new model might allow for more connected devices, but the exact number is not mentioned. Another potential feature could be the ability to connect to your home Wi-Fi wirelessly; right now, you need to use an ethernet cable to connect the Hue Bridge to your router. Unfortunately, the report does not specify where this information comes from.

    Anticipated Features

The release of the Philips Hue Bridge v3 wouldn’t surprise fans of the brand, since it has been a while since the last version came out. The company has also been making improvements to the existing model, with significant updates like the one in November 2024, which introduced support for controlling multiple bridges at once.

Although the company hasn’t confirmed this new product yet, there are speculations that it might be released sometime in 2025. The pricing for this upcoming Philips Hue Bridge is still unknown; however, the second-generation model is currently listed on Amazon for $41.89.

Equipped with a dual blade anti-tangle main brush, this robot adeptly cuts through hair while cleaning, minimizing the need for manual upkeep. It also includes a retractable side brush system and mop pads that automatically extend to effectively clean edges and corners. These components work with millimeter-level precision, enhancing reach and coverage along baseboards and walls.

    Smart Navigation System

The M40S employs a three-laser navigation system featuring stereo LiDAR and edge distance sensors, providing it with 3D spatial awareness and accurate obstacle avoidance. The robot can map rooms in real-time and adjusts its routes on the fly to prevent collisions with furniture or getting trapped.

The premium version comes with a compact dock that supports automatic water inlet and outlet, detergent dispensing, and high-temperature mop cleaning of up to 80°C. It also features hot air drying that finishes in just two hours and dual scraper arms to maintain cleanliness of both the mop and the base.

    Battery Life and Control Options

This vacuum offers an impressive 75 days of free dust disposal and is powered by a 5200mAh battery. It can be controlled via the Mi Home app or the Xiao Ai voice assistant. Moreover, it supports HyperOS Connect, providing easy interaction with other Xiaomi smart devices.

Weighing in at approximately 3.75kg, the robot has a diameter of 350mm. The standard dock measures 470 x 360 x 572mm, while the embedded auto water version is more compact at 450 x 420 x 280mm, designed for installation in cabinets.

Xiaomi has also recently unveiled the Wireless Mouse Lite 3, which features 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, a 1000 DPI sensor, and weighs just 45g, making it ergonomic and lightweight. Additionally, the company introduced the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 4 Max, which has a patented edge-cleaning arm and provides suction power up to 23,000Pa.
