Casio Launches Rose-Inspired G-SHOCK & BABY-G Couples Watch Set

Casio Launches Rose-Inspired G-SHOCK & BABY-G Couples Watch Set

Casio is set to unveil a special limited-edition collection of its G-SHOCK and BABY-G watches, aimed at couples who wish to honor their bond in a unique way. With charming rose designs, this exclusive duo will hit the Japanese market on November 22nd.

Romantic Design Features

The GA-110 G-SHOCK and BA-110 BABY-G watches proudly boast a beautiful white-rose pattern. Roses can be seen on the G-SHOCK's indicator hand, while the BABY-G features them on both hour and minute hands, plus additional rose designs on the band loops. Each timepiece highlights three roses to symbolize "I love you," and when combined, they total six roses to signify "I’m crazy about you." This thoughtful design makes it a perfect gift for couples.

Special Packaging Touches

Casio has also thought about the packaging, extending the romantic theme throughout. The inside of the box is adorned with 11 roses, representing the idea of being the “most beloved” in the language of flowers. Additionally, the overall design of the set includes 99 roses, a figure often linked with eternal love.

Unique Symbolism

On the back of the watches, there is an engraving depicting an angel and a devil, symbolizing the charm of contrasting elements and the balance found in relationships.

Blending Functionality and Love

While these limited-edition models are stylish, they also maintain the toughness and features that G-SHOCK and BABY-G are known for. The G-SHOCK GA-110 is equipped with shock and magnetic resistance, water resistance up to 200 meters, and a stopwatch that measures to 1/1000 seconds. The BABY-G BA-110 matches this resilience with 100-meter water resistance and several daily alarms.

Both watches come with LED lighting, world time that covers 29 time zones, countdown timers, and a full auto calendar valid until 2099, seamlessly merging practicality with romantic design so that users can appreciate both elegance and functionality.

Cost and Launch Details

This special set will retail for 39,050 yen, which is about $256, and will initially be released in Japan and select areas in Asia.

In other news, Casio has also rolled out a limited-edition Casiotron TRN-50ZE-1A in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the original Casiotron, the first digital watch to feature an automatic calendar, launched in 1974. This new watch boasts a striking black and gold palette, complete with a stainless steel case and band highlighted with gold accents.
