AYN Technologies is gearing up to launch the Odin2 Portal. To give you some background, the company started hinting at this device just last week, presenting it as a more substantial and luxurious choice compared to its current Odin2 model (priced at $449 on Amazon) and the Odin2 Mini that was introduced earlier this year. While the price for the Portal hasn't been disclosed yet, AYN Technologies has shared the complete specifications for the device through a recent post on their Discord channel.
Different Configurations
Like the previous iterations of the Odin series, AYN Technologies will provide the Odin2 Portal in three different versions: Base, Pro, and Max. These versions will vary based on their RAM and storage capacities. Specifically, the device will be available in the following configurations:
Every unit will operate on Android 13, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and equipped with a 6,600 mAh battery. Additionally, the dimensions of the Odin2 Portal will be 257 x 98.6 x 16 mm and it will have a weight of 415 g, no matter if you choose the Base, Pro, or Max configuration.
Active Cooling Feature
Moreover, AYN Technologies has added a basic active cooling system to maintain the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2's performance while it runs at a peak 27 W TDP. As of now, the Odin2 Portal is anticipated to be available for order later in the week. Therefore, we expect AYN Technologies to reveal more details about the Odin2 Portal in the next day or two.
