Ayaneo 3 Launch Timeline Revealed for Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Handheld

Ayaeno is preparing to launch its first gaming handheld powered by the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, named Ayaneo 3. The company has been hinting at this device for some time, and it has now appeared on Indiegogo. The timeline for its launch has been announced.

Launch Timeline

During a recent live stream, it was revealed that the Ayaneo 3 will officially launch in late January 2025. It will feature the Zen 5 AMD APU, competing with the Ryzen Z2 series models that will be presented at CES 2025. Additionally, Ayaneo’s gaming handheld will also come with a Hawk Point APU option.

Variants and Specifications

In terms of specifications, apart from the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, there will be another version of the Ayaneo 3 powered by the older Ryzen 7 8840U. This model is designed to rival the non-Extreme Ryzen Z2 series and other Zen 4 gaming handhelds that were released earlier, like the Legion Go, which is currently priced at $549.99 on Amazon.

Unique Features

But the standout feature of the Ayaneo 3 isn’t just the hardware. As mentioned previously, this gaming handheld boasts a distinctive modular design. In addition to its interchangeable buttons, it includes swappable modules, allowing for a fully personalized gaming experience tailored to each player’s control preferences.

Earlier teasers have also indicated that the device will have multiple screen options, including both LCD and OLED displays. Another significant feature of the Ayaneo 3 is its self-designed “Magnetic Suspension Motor,” which aims to provide users with realistic vibration feedback.

Pricing Information

Although pricing details have yet to be released, now that the gaming handheld has been fully unveiled, more information should be coming soon.
