Xiaomi has quietly listed a new high-capacity power bank on its global website, signaling an international launch is on the horizon. The Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 22.5W arrives shortly after a series of domestic refreshes in China, where the company recently updated both its 10,000 mAh Pocket Edition and a 20,000 mAh model with enhanced safety features designed to reduce the risk of overheating and fires.
A familiar capacity with a refined design
The global variant packs a rated capacity of 20,000 mAh and stores 74 Wh of battery energy. Unlike the equivalent Chinese release, this version arrives without an integrated charging cable. The device measures 150.6 x 72.2 x 26.3 mm and offers a maximum output of up to 24.5 V. Users can charge up to three devices simultaneously through one USB Type-C and two USB Type-A ports. Low-current charging support is also built in, making it safe to top up smaller electronics such as earbuds, smartwatches, and fitness bands.
Safety features and global release outlook
Xiaomi states that multiple circuit protections are included to safeguard the power bank during daily use. While listing images confirm a single black colorway, the product has not yet appeared on any regional storefronts outside China. The appearance on the global site, however, suggests a broader rollout is planned later in 2026, following a pattern seen with products like the Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000, which appeared internationally some time after its initial unveiling. Further pricing and regional availability remain unannounced as of this report.
