Regulatory Filings Hint at a Green Variant
Import records uncovered by The Walkman Blog reference an unidentified color designated simply as “G.” While the abbreviation could theoretically point to Gold, the publication suggests that Green is the more probable interpretation. This assessment draws on Sony’s recent product strategy, which has already delivered green versions of its LinkBuds Clip and LinkBuds Fit earphones. No additional specifications or release timeline have been confirmed at this stage.
Expanding a Familiar Palette
The WH-1000XM6 launched with Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue options. Sony has since broadened consumer choice with two mid-cycle additions: a Sand Pink finish arrived early this year, followed by a Sandstone colorway in June.
